Petros Stathis

Greek businessman Petros Stathis, also a Montenegrin citizen, is the sole owner of First Financial Holdings - Podgorica. Through this company, he owns several media outlets in Montenegro, including daily and portal Pobjeda, as well as digital outlets CDM and Portal Analitika.

Besides the media business, Stathis is involved in other sectors - including banking and hospitality. According to media reports, he owns a Universal Capital Bank in Montenegro, as well as several other companies operating in the construction, engineering, advertising, export-import and hotel industry.

He owns Adriatic Properties, which has a long-term lease for the state-owned luxury hotel Sveti Stefan, managed by AMAN Resorts. In addition, according to media reports, Stathis is the co-owner of the luxurious hotel and casino Maestral.

According to the publicly available information, Stathis has a diverse business portfolio outside of Montenegro, including several companies registered in Dubai (UAE), including SDS Management and Monterock International. Monterock International, a Dubai-based company, according to the information published online, employs over 2500 people in more than 18 countries. He is also a co-owner of the global hospitality brand NAMMOS, which started operations in Mykonos.

Paula Phua

According to media reports, Stathis is a friend and business partner of Paul Phua. They own the Montenegrin Hotel and Casino Maestral together. The ownership of the hotel is hidden behind foreign companies. Phua, who, according to the media, is a king of poker and an alleged member of the Chinese Triads, also has Montenegrin citizenship.
