Media companies
Most media companies in Montenegro, apart from the national and local public broadcasters, are private enterprises, while some radio and online media are being published by nonprofits.
The largest private companies that are media publishers are Daily Press (daily and portal Vijesti) and Televizija Vijesti, owned majorly by the United Group and Serbian businessman Dragan Šolak, while the largest minority owners are Perović and Ivanović families. Jumedia Mont is also a large media company, publishing Dan media outlets, the magazine Revija D, and radio D, which is owned by Mladen Milutinović and the Jovanović family. Another large group of companies include Nova Pobjeda (daily and portal Pobjeda), CDM and Portal Press (Portal Analitika), which are owned by Petros Stathis’ First Financial Holdings company.
Another large media company is AST, which is the publisher of Prva TV and is owned by Kopernikus Corporation from Cyprus, which is owned by Srđan Milovanović.
