The official data about the establishment of Radio Svetigora, found on the web page of the Agency for electronic media does not correspond to the data the Radio Svetigora enlisted on their website. While the AEM mentioned that the media has started its work in 2011 the official history on the Radio Svetigora official web page mentioned that the Steering committee of the Montenegrin - coastal Metropolis of the Serbian Orthodox Church has decided to establish Radio Svetigora on February 25th 1998 while the program started broadcasting on June 7th 1988. The website also mentioned that in 2005 the Radio Svetigora was transformed into d.o.o. “Metropoliten medija” - business unit Radio Svetigora, founded by the Metropolis of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
