Radio Delfin was established in 2002. The ownership structure changed in 2016 when Radio also changed its name to Radio S and was acquired by the Serbian S Media owned at the time by Zoran Anđelković. The ownership structure changed again in 2023 when Bogdan Todorović became the majority shareholder with 51% stake in the company.
There is inconsistency in the radio station's location since three different addresses are mentioned in three different sources. The Impressum of the radio station, the Central Registry of Business Entities and the Agency for Electronic Media all refer to different locations and cities (Podgorica and Herceg Novi) as the radio station's address.
